Any genealogist should shoot for more than one source for an event proof. My father lied about his age to get into WWII, so how accurate could it be? I've seen differences when compared with other sources for WWI registrations. I would be very surprised if there weren't errors in every type of document created. Im not saying every document. Birth and death records can have errors even when info is given at the time of the event. This is a major reason to use more than one source and the best sources you can fine. Best wishes, Emily If you do not hear from me in a timely manner, just write again...I was buried in email.
