Gail Edwards-Petersen: Could it be the St. John's section of the present day Portland? Please respond or have your friend respond about her WHITNEYs. Did they come from the New England via Iowa to Oregon? Some of my GALLUPs and DOWs had WHITNEY connections in Connecticut and Iowa.
