I just picked up a really interesting little book from Powell's here in Portland. It's called: Immigration Rosters of the Elliott Cut-off: 1853 & 1854 and Immigration Registration at Umatilla Agency, 1853. Compiled by Leah Collins Menefee. 1984. Most of it is a listing of people who went through the above. Just their names and the date they went through. There is also a compiled list of the Lost Wagon Train of 1853. It's such a neat book, I thought I would offer to do lookups if anyone is looking for someone from that period. If anyone would like a lookup, could you just put Immigration Rosters in the Subject line. That way I'll know which book as I do lookups for several books. It would be much appreciated. Janine Bork
