Info from a DLC states that one Samuel Edwin HENDRICKS arrived in Oregon on Feb. 4, 1851. Did any of the overland trains arrive that late in the winter? Or should I assume he arrived some other way - if the date is correct? I am trying to identify the HENDRICKS family whose daughter Henrietta "Nettie" Hendricks was born in OR in 1858.
