Rose: Re Steeves page 34-6 on the four Neal brothers that came over in 44 and had claims in West Stayton: Peter, Alexander, Calvin, and George W. -- the latter of whom the sketch is written (but mistitled Calvin), although Steeves does mention briefly their journey over.
