Has anyone on the list read a diary or journal about the trip west on the Oregon Trail that makes any reference to an Orin or Buck Martin? I have been told that there is a diary that mentions a "Buck", who was traveling without a wagon, who was always causing trouble. He supposedly killed a half breed Indian over a horse.
