Dear Listers, This query may be directed more in the area of Yamhill, Clackamas, and Washington. I am looking for the brother and two sons of Levi Washington Gregg. I am also looking for the gravesites of Jesse Parrish and his wife, Christina Shuck Parrish. Levi's wife, Susannah Smith, died on the trail in 1852, as did his mother, Elizabeth Roberts Gregg, and his father, John Gregg. The family arrived in Oregon on Oct. 25, 1852. (DLC) This group was, at least: Levi, daughter Urania, 6 years old who later married James McConnell in Oregon, two sons William Gregg born about 1848, and John Gregg, born about 1851. also, Levi's sisters Polly Ann and her husband Philip Winters, and Almeda, married to Joseph Badley. Also, Levi's brother, William Gregg, born in about 1835. Levi later married Jane Parrish Heater in Dec. 1861. . They divorced in 1868. Levi then took with him to California his four infant children by Jane; Silas Gregg, 5; Jeris Gregg, 4; twins Riley and Delilah Gregg, 2. Where did his sons William and John go? What happened to them? Does anyone have these two Greggs in their family file? I have not been able to find the burial locations of Jesse Parrish and his wife, Christina Shuck Parrish.
