My Oregon families: ROGERS, CHAMBERLAIN, ROBINETT/ROBNETT, POWELL William Henry ROGERS of Grant Co., Wisconsin and wife Hannah (Hattie) CHAMBERLAIN of Oakland Co., Michigan settled in the Troutdale area c1889. Hannah’s parents, George Washington CHAMBERLAIN and Mary LANE also settled in Troudale c1882. John ROBINETT of Bourbon Co., Kentucky came to Linn Co. with a few years lay-over in Missouri. Arrived in Oregon 1851 with wife Mary POWELL, daughter of Richard POWELL and Rachel JAMES. Mary was born in Clairborne Co., Tennessee and also lived many years in Missouri before coming further west.
