It was last surveyed in 1968. This information comes from my USA/GPS waypoint server, which anyone can access at: http://www.calcite.rocky.edu/gps/ You can search by any of the above criteria, but mostly you'd just want to ask for matches on a given landmark in a given state (I put in "Swaggart Buttes" and selected "Oregon" to search). Also, I'd like to point out that there is the Oregon-California Trails Association located at: http://www.octa-trails.org One of our major projects is the "COED" database which is the Census of Emigrant Diarys - which catalogs landmarks and people mentioned in the journals that have survived. Unfortunately it's not online (yet) but you can order a search via the mail form that is on the website. I hope this will prove useful to you "sons of the pioneers" ( and daughters, too!)
