    3. Wilhoit is not a common name, but I have one of them in my family tree. I think this line comes from Germany. As for stinky water: I remember going to the mineral spring at Cascadia in the 1940's. Why would anyone drink that stuff? I haven't heard anything about it for a long time but when I was a child (1940's) my parents and their friends went there often. The only rememberance I have of it was it smelled like rotten eggs. I believe it was an early 'spa' of some sort. I believe it was named for the WILHOIT family who were original owners. > Doneva > Gallokc@aol.com wrote: Lookng for a male WILHOIT from Nebraska. 3. Wilhoit Springs near Molalla was quite the resort in its heyday I understand. It is still open to the public to go and get water. A cousin of my mother-in-law still goes up there to get water. He is in his 90's. My husband's brother also gets it and likes it I guess. They also use it to make pancakes.
