Hi Maxine, I have ancestors (Thomas Edward Brown & family) who traveled from Texas to Oregon about 1868-69 and I've been trying to determine the route. Since Tom Brown had itchy feet, traveling from Tennessee to Arkansas, to Georgia, to Texas, I haven't a clue from whereabouts in Texas they started from but would be interested in hearing of the route your ancestors traveled.
