My family came from Kansas to Boise, Idaho in 1890. They were not in a wagon train but met with several different groups on the trail. My grandfather said that one time they camped beside a railroad track across a canyon and timed the trains for three days. Then they crossed the canyon on the train tressel between the trains. As near as we can figure, it was in what is now Wyoming. Has anyone else heard about this? Does anyone know where it is located. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Carla
