Greetings: Oral tradition is that Henry Franklin and his wife Elizabeth Ann came to Washington over the Oregon trail. What I do know is that Henry was born in Ill, and his wife (maiden name Housman) was born in Ohio in 1846 and died in 1927 in Seattle. I know of one daughter Katie F. Franklin born in Kansas in 1882. Was the trail still used in the 1880's? Thanks, donna
