    3. Greetings: Oral tradition is that Henry Franklin and his wife Elizabeth Ann came to Washington over the Oregon trail. What I do know is that Henry was born in Ill, and his wife (maiden name Housman) was born in Ohio in 1846 and died in 1927 in Seattle. I know of one daughter Katie F. Franklin born in Kansas in 1882. Was the trail still used in the 1880's? Thanks, donna

Later they moved to Washington State, settling in the Ellensburg, Kittitas County, area. Any information that you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
