Good evening, Recently purchased a new computer and it has a CD writer.......so today I thought that I would copy my files on to a CD......everything is great, except.......in my little world the perfect thing would be that I can add to the disc instead of keeping everything on the computer. When I access my disc now, the message is "a read only file, nothing added will be saved". So basically what I have is a great back up to the information I have now. What I wanted was to be able to remove all of the info from the computer and use CD's only. Is this possible? I am using Family Treemaker, and it has been good, but the information that I have on all the famillies is getting extensive. I am thinking that if I had another type of record keeping I would be able to add it to the CD. Is that possible? Thank you for any help on this process, I would greatly appreciate any advice.
