Omar Bradley was a cousin of ours, Walter was 5 years older than he and I am two years younger. He was this woman's uncle she knew him well and it was a pleasure to meet this writers friend in my museum last fall. Fathers people here still living there. My mothers Family came from Iowa to Indiania to Oregon in 1847. Ore was still Territory as was the Iowa they left. Born Martha Bradley on April 19, 1895 in Alsea, Oregon, she spent much of her youth in Montana. Her husband preceded her in death in 1969. While in retirement she ran the House of Horses Museum in Vida which she had filled with her paintings and Sculptures. Funeral services have been scheduled for May 25th. Further informantion will be provided next week. Friday May 24, 1991martha Bradley Shelley, 96, of Vida died of natural causes on May 15 at her home in Vida. She was born on April 29, 1895 in Alsea, Oregon to Robert Snodgrass and Nancy Roxanna Bradley. In later years her father operated a farm in eastern Oregon raising Percherons and Clydesdales.
