I'm posting this in case it hasn't already been posted to the general Oregon list. The poster's e-mail is at the bottom. I've "rescued" three old photographs all taken at the F.L. Camps Studio in Ashland, Oregon, all appear to have been taken in the 1890's. They appear to be that of a mother and two of her daughters. The first is Aunt Celia BOICE FRULAN who appears to be in her 40's at the time. The second photograph is of Cecilia FRULAN age 17 years and was taken in 1894. The third photograph is of Maud FRULAN age 15 years and was also taken in 1894. I believe that Cecilia FRULAN married Duffy BACHARD 23 May 1896 at Jackson, Oregon and that there was also a son in the family, Harvey Frederick FRULAN b. 2 Sept 1885 in California. I believe there is a California connection because along with these photographs were three old PHILLIPS Family Photographs all taken at the Weston Studio in Red Bluff, California. The PHILLIPS photographs were likely taken in the 1880's. The first is a photo of Uncle Henry PHILLIPS who appears to be in his 50's at the time. The second photo is of Mattie PHILLIPS DOUGLAS who appears to be in her teens at the time the photograph was taken. The third photo is of Grandma PHILLIPS who appears to be in her 50's or 60's at the time. I believe that Mattie may be Mattie Louisa PHILLIPS DOUGLAS b. 9 Nov 1870 in Massachusetts, mother's maiden name LANCASTER, who died 11 June 1945 in Alameda County, California. I don't know what the connection is between these two families, however, because the handwritten notations appear to have been made by the same hand I'm assuming there is some connection. I do find a Henry PHILLIPS b. 1890 mother's maiden name BOYCE who was born in California and died in Alameda County, California in 1946, so maybe this is the connection between the families. I'm hoping to locate someone from the family so that these beautiful photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family.
