I am looking for any information on Theresa Josephine Smith (married name Dougherty). She was born Sept. 8, 1885 in South Dakota She may have married in 1909. She died Feb. 19, 1975 in Multnomah County, Oregon. I would like to get a copy of the obituary if at all possible. What I am trying to find is information on her family before her marriage. I have a copy of a photo taken by Thwaites Photo in Portland with a handwritten note on the back M. Schmitt (Smith), 410 Wash St., Portland. I believe the children in this family were: Theresa Josephine, Maria (Mollie) Gertrude, Sadie, and Frank Parents may have been John Henry and Maria (Mary).. I have been unable to locate any information in the census? Does anyone have any suggestions? I really would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks. Edel
