Good Morning! Would SKS please check ancestry.com, or an online subscriber to the Oregonian, for an obituary for Ruby Caroline Carlson. Ruby was born June 9, 1914; maiden name is Brink. She married Wesley W. Carlson in Minnesota. Surviving her should be one son, Paul W. Carlson. My subscription to ancestry.com recently expired. I'd also bookmarked the Oregonian Newspaper site sometime ago, but see that things must've changed since the archives now ask for a subscription or fee to access full obituaries. Please help?! Researchers; It is true , so many places are not free anymore. Many places are switching to give me money. I am also finding that many places now are asking for MONEY to use or see their sites even for a credit card number to get 2 weeks free trial.. Pretty soon it won't be any more free info sites for Genealogy. I wonder where the Genealogy searchers will go then???? Even free info for anyone is being put into PAY ME NOW or 2 free weeks trial then they take your money from a "forced give me credit card number" for the 2 weeks free trial , and no return. It is awful, that so many free sites are wanting to grab your money. Highway robber's must be the theme now. Or Give me a piece of the pie.
