Surnames: Luttrell, Fagin, Midkiff, Watkins Ervin Marvin Luttrell, 73, a resident of The Dalles, died on January 25, 2002. He was born in Okema, Oklahoma to Clifford and Chloe Luttrell on April 10, 1928, and was the youngest of seven children. The family moved to St Helens (Oregon) in 1933 and later settled in the Hillsboro (Oregon) area in 1949. He married Lois Fagin in Forest Grove (Oregon) on September 1, 1951. His early work years were spent in the sawmills of western Oregon and as a foundry worker. The last 15 years of his work history were in the employ of the Intel Corporation from which he retired. Following his retirement the family moved to The Dalles in 1994 where he contributed much of his time as a volunteer minister of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include his wife, Lois Luttrell, The Dalles; a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Michael Midkiff, Seattle (Washington); two sons and their wives, Lawrence and Debra Luttrell, Gaston (Oregon); and Jason and Darla Luttrell, Murdock; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Nita Watkins, Sutherlin (Oregon); a brother, Lloyd Luttrell, Hastings, Michigan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be Saturday, February 2, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2500 E. Eighth Street, Loren Schacher officiating.
