Hi, I'm looking for information on my Great-Grand Uncle Norval Eugene Romspert who probably went by the name Eugene. Uncle Eugene was estranged from his family so nothing was known until about two months ago when I found that he got married to Lillie Harding on September 8, 1908 in Multnomah County Oregon. No more information was found on Lillie Harding Romspert. He was recently found in 1920 Census living with his wife Hattie, her father, Thomas W. Corder, and two daughters: Hattie B Spencer and Elma Spencer. Thomas W Corder was born in England and about 59 in 1920 Hattie Romspert was born in Oregon. I believe in 1892. She died Jan 15, 1975 in Clackamas Co Oregon. Hattie B Spencer was born Feb 10, 1911 in Oregon. According to Eugene's obit in 1966 she was Hattie Comella of Los Angeles. Hattie died in 1980 in Oregon. Elma R. Spencer was born July 15, 1913 in Oregon. Again in Eugene's obit she was Irma Wundelich of Portland. I think was the Erma Rocena Wunderlich who died Jan 17, 1992 in Multnomah County. Norval Eugene Romspert was born June 17, 1874 in Maryland. Acording to his obit he came to Oregon about 1894. He died July 26, 1964 in Newberg, Oregon. The Romspert family lived at 350 Oregon Street Portland in 1920.
