Several people guessed the sheep shearing sheds at Shaniko (Oregon), but a few others recognized the Moody warehouse on the east end of Second Street in The Dalles, located approximately where Tum-A-Lum Lumber is today. The wool industry flourished in Wasco County 100 years ago, and Shaniko was then one of the largest wool shipping areas in the United States."
