Hello List My great uncle John Downes emigrated from England to Oregon in the early 1900s. I have his death certificate which states that he died in 1925 at 540 dekum Ave. Portland. His occupation was Attorney, and his wife Alice was present. He was buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There were two daughters, Marie and Lucie. Marie became a nun, convent unknown. Any info. welcome.
