    3. with massive budget cuts not only Oregon's but so are many other states. Oregon's fees are still a bargain, considering the constraints placed by the Oregon's voters. The "much higher" fee - not as high as I thought it might be but lower than I expected. And what's more, when I was at Oregon State Archives, I didn't see much volunteers. Maybe just one just to check death certificates. Pretty much sum it. Most of volunteers they have are used for indexing projects. We should be thankful Oregon had sense to get volunteers for projects while other states still haven't come to that sense yet.
