The proverbial indolence of certain elements in the population of Oregon, gives a strikingly facetious turn to the section forbidding secular labor; when we consider that this part of the people are not likely to break the law on Sunday or any other day of the week by secular labor. A Tuesday Law would interfere neither more nor less than the Sunday Law with this class of people.
