The Oregon Genealogical Society [OGS] in Eugene, Oregon will be starting their yearly classes on Sept 16th. The classes are about 2 hours long on Saturday's from 10 AM to 12 noon. The fee is $5.00 per class and you don't need to pre register to attend. Just drop in of you see something you are interested in. They will run from Sept 16 to April or May. I will be posting the classes every couple of months. The OGS Library will also be open in the afternoon for you to do research and browse after the classes.
