Vol. 4 shows Samuel & Rebecca Short as parents of your Samuel Jr b.2-2-1854 who md Margaret Matilda Miller. According to Vol. 4, Samuel Sr had 5 children by each of his 2 wives, and Samuel Jr b.2-2-1854 was 3rd of 5 children Samuel Sr had by Rebecca Short.
