    3. Surnames: Hildreth, Heisler, Jessup, Lee, McNulty, Schaffer Marguerete L. Hildreth, 93, a native of Dufur (Oregon), died on April 13, 2002, from complications of pneumonia at her home. She was born on October 1, 1909 in Dufur to Claud and Millie Heisler in Dufur. She moved to Portland as a child and lived there most of her life. She has lived in Santa Barbara, California for the past five years. She had a life long career as a bookkeeper, joining the Gresham Berry Growers in 1948 and working there until 1972. She was a Past Matron of the Mt. Scott Eastern Star and was also active in Amaranth and Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed music and for many years was the organist for her Eastern Star Chapter and for the Zion Evangelical Church in Gresham. She had a son, Don Jessup, from her first marriage and then married Harold Douglas Hildreth in 1942. He died in 1981. Survivors include her son, Don Jessup and his wife, Sharleen, and granddaughter, Diana Lee, all in Santa Barbara; a grandson, Don Jessup, Colorado Springs; half sisters, Mildred McNulty, Woodburn (Oregon); and Violet Schaffer, Milpitas, California and half brother, Robert Heisler, Salem. She was also receded in death by a brother, Leonard Heisler, in 2001. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 20, at Lincoln Memorial Park beginning at 3 p.m. preceded by a family graveside service at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Lynchwood Christian Church, 5815 SE 174th, Portland, Oregon 97236.
