    3. Well here goes Dan. Leabo's were on the east side of independence Oregon. The matneys were just across the river. The blue herrion nursery now stands is where there place was Isiac wanted to be burried behind his place. It is now on private property there are several grave sites on a piece of private property on that hillside the owner will not allow enterance to his property. The realestate developer had aearal photo's before the homeowner had the head stone's buldozed. The developer Gravenhoarse what a nice man. The private home owner was a Dr. from Salem hospital believe he is retired now, can't remember his name. pmml@navicom.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan M1" <wb@wvi.com> To: <OREGON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 08, 2002 11:01 PM Subject: Re: [OREGON] MATNEY>related question>Need HELP PLEASE > > > Subject: Re: [OREGON] MATNEY>related question>Need HELP PLEASE > > > > Dan are you looking for where they are burried? > ================================== > > At this point there are only 3 people who I am looking for a burial > 1 Walter Jefferson Matney exact death date unknown abt 1873 > 2 Julia <Cooper><Matney><Rowe> est date of death 1880 to 1920 > 3 Hiram C Rowe Possibly 1917 , last known address was Newburg Or > > Walter died in CA we asume, last time I heard there are suposed to be some > files on him in Salem , but have not found them . > > I was thinking some of the people doing the tomstone project might have a > way to look these op faster them I can. > > Dan > > > > ==== OREGON Mailing List ==== > Welcome to the OREGON LIST > To Search the OREGON-L or leave the lists use this link to the Oregon-L > web site http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/usa/OR/misc.html > Oregon Archives http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/ > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
