Surnames: Clubb, Binford, Ackley, Wedekind Joy "Jo" Vilene Clubb, 53, a resident of The Dalles, died at Mid-Columbia Medical Center on Sunday, June 30, 2002. She was born March 21, 1949, in White Salmon, Washington, the oldest of five children to Earl Dewayne and Ida Evelyn (Binford) Ackley. She grew up in the Portland/Vancouver (Washington) area, and then lived in several areas of the Columbia River Gorge before settling in The Dalles. She enjoyed homemaking, crafts and being with her family. She is survived by her companion, Montia Stephens, The Dalles; her children, Chester Clubb, Portland; Michele Clubb, The Dalles, Pam Wedekind and husband, Andy, Washington; Ida Clubb, Arkansas and Dawn Clubb, Madras (Oregon), 15 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery in Vancouver, Washington at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 12. Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
