Hi everyone, I inquired a while ago about finding a birth/death record for an older sibling of my uncle. He said this child died prior to his birth. There was one possible on the death record data base, so a ordered a copy from the archives. I got it today, right record, wrong parents and it included a bill for the usual 25 cents for the copy and postage. I don't know when the new prices go into effect. I have a death certificate(Toledo, Lincoln Co, OR) for an Ada May Cooley, born May 8, 1916 died May 19. It lists cause of death as premature birth. Parents are S.W. Cooley from Indiana and Alice Small, daughter of M.W. Small, born in Kansas. If anyone wants this certificate, contact me with you snail mail address off list and I will send it on.
