I have Marriage Records from ORE Books (Washington Co. and Polk Co.) that I copied from Salem, ORE. There are marriages starting in 1850 or so as I found several in my family for 1852 in Bk 1. I think it depends on the County you are searching. Perhaps the book was made up of entries from newspapers, I am not sure. Bks 1-3 cover the 1850-1870 time period for those counties. Karen Beagle
