Surnames: MacKay, Serroels, Desmet Marie C. MacKay, 97, a former resident of The Dalles, died in Portland on March 12, 2002. She was born (in) Belgium on April 1, 1905. She was a resident of The Dalles for 42 years and had lived in Portland since 1996. She married Edward MacKay on May 7, 1940. He died in 1983. Survivors include a sister, Elieve Serroels; a brother, Amiel Desmet; and nieces and nephews. Public graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery.
