I was wondering if anyone could please look up a marriage date on my gggrandparents. They were Robert SLEIGHT and Lida MOE. She should have gone by MOE. She took her step fathers name. Her birth name was SHAW. Robert and Lida's first daughter was born in 1894. I really couldn't tell you if they got married in Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA. I know my gggrandfather (Roberts Dad) remarried in 1893 or 1894 in Vancouver. thanks! The marriage records don't start that early in Oregon. We generally have to rely on church records, that far back. Vancouver (Clark County) might be different, if you post to a board over there.
