Oregon Genealogical Society issues Oregon Pioneer Certificates to direct descendants of pioneers who settled in Oregon prior to November 1872. In addition, the society offers Early Settler Certificates to anyone who directly descends from an ancestor who settled in Oregon after October 1872 but before December 31, 1900.
