Earline, If you have permission from the publisher to transcribe the articles then you are not violating any copyright laws. If the complainer is upset that their name or a relatives name is being posted online they need to realize that once it is written in a newspaper that particular piece of information is in the public domain and their only recourse would have been to sue the publisher back at the time of the original publication. Needless to say, I hope you reconsider.
