To all: My brother-in-law loves to fish. He baits his hook, drops it over board and then trolls looking for a hit. My fellow genealogist - I believe we have a troll sighting. I'm sorry I was tied up attempting to understand some interesting spelling variants in a 1859 San Mateo Gazette or I might have pointed out the rare species in genealogical forums. I've seen trolls often in some of my other interests and hobbies, but usually in genealogical forums, the worst I have seen are lost souls who somehow after pushing several buttons, seem to have subscribed themselves to something they didn't want but were unable to read the welcome letter to discover how to unsubscribe. I'd like to add my "props" to Earline - in reading all her stuff I have stumbled over many mentions of my husband's family that I would not have found otherwise.
