I want to thank everyone who responded to my post earlier this week and determining when land was disposed of. I live in Oklahoma and researchign by long distance is a real challenge. I did learn that the records I need to access are in the Linn County Courthouse, and thru information provided in one of the responses, I now have an avenue to search the records.
