For those interested: Columbian Cemetery Special Member Meeting 06/24/2005 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- There will be a Special Meeting of Members of the Columbian Cemetery Association (CCA) that will be held on June 24, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at: Kenton Historic Firehouse, 8105 North Brandon, Portland, Oregon. The Families of Historic Columbian Cemetery (FOHCC) encourage all CCA members (individuals owning an interest in burial plots, either by purchase or through descendancy from ancestors/relatives buried at the Columbian Cemetery) to attend the Special Meeting. FOHCC supports an Affirmative (For) Vote on all 4 measures under consideration: 1. Vote on adoption of Restated Articles of Incorporation for CCA 2. Vote on adoption of Restated Bylaws of CCA 3. Election of sole Director (Trustee) of CCA 4. Approval of the transfer of all CCA assets (including cemetery Real Property) to the Historic Columbian Cemetery (HCC), a non-profit cemetery organization, organized under IRS code section 501(c)(13), and all members will thereafter exchange their interest in CCA for an identical interest in HCC, afterwhich the old CCA will dissolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- How To Vote You may vote in person at the Special Member Meeting on June 24, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kenton Historic Firehouse, 8105 North Brandon, Portland, Oregon. If you cannot attend the Member Meeting in person, you may vote by Proxy. You may appoint your own proxy, or visit the FOHCC website (below) to send your proxy vote to the HCC proxy holder.
