This is just a tidbit that may not have any import in your search but a branch of Marchant's must have made it to the Yakima Valley because there is a very nice furniture store called 'Marchant Home Furnishings' that is located in Grandview, Washington. Last I knew it was still owned by the Marchant family. I moved away from that area a few years ago so I may not be up to speed on the latest happenings.
