Hello, Still searching for information on the following ancestors: Charles Everett Marchant, b. Canada 12-1868 and Laila May (Goodwin) Marchant, b. Salem, NH, 4-1869 The couple left Massachusetts and showed up in the 1930 Census of Oregon City, Clackamas County, OR. They worked in the Woolen Mills while in MA and in 1930 are in their 60s. Would anyone have access to City Directories for the 1930s to check on this couple? If anyone lives in Oregon City, OR, would they have access to voter registration cards that would show addresses and years in the City? I'd appreciate any help I can get, I have little info on these ancestors after they left MA. Thanks for any information you may have. I remember seeing a lot of Marchants in some Linn County Cemeteries I visited this year. That might be a place to look. The Linn County Genealogical Society has a great collection of cemetery records. Ali
