    3. We have all these lists on RW and I am either owner/manager or member of a great many lists, seems they are all just sleeping mostly. Has the ferver of e-mail lost its luster or has every one just ran out of steam these days on research? Dan M

    3. Dan: Well, sleeping would very well describe many of them. Perhaps many people are like me and they have come up to a brick wall so big they haven't figured out to get beyond it. I subscribe to several hoping I will see something come across of interest. I know that there are descendants of my line (the Casner, Carsner, Carsoner) out there and I would love to make contact, but it seems I'm the only one interested at this point. I would love to drive to OR and spend several months just going from county to county and see what I could find, but unfortunately this will not happen. I've done all the 'long distance' research possible. I know there is that one person out there in cyber space somewhere, one day, we will make contact and answer each other's questions. Keep up the good work! It is appreciated. Liz Freeman In OK! 3. Dan, I don't think that it has lost its fervor. In fact, I think I have made posts that inadvertently went to the individual instead of the group. I am researching Oregon almost everyday! My latest question is on the Bancroft Lists. Where can I find these? I just found out about them and found an index, but was really hoping to see the information that is included in its entirety. Can anyone help with this? Ali
