Where in the Oregon desert do you live? I have cousins in Burns, Or. My dad was born and raised there. I have a picture of Burns when there were about four dwellings in the town. Am looking for the marriage of: Joe Francis CASPER = Anna Hay (Nann) GALLACHER (GALLAGHER) They were married between 1926 and 1936 and probably lived in Newport, Lincoln, Oregon at that time. Would like to get a copy of this marriage and would be happy to pay the fee for getting it. Thanks, Renee Harris <harrisgr27@yahoo.com> ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for a deal? I am searching for any information (death, burial) etc for: Samuel Cowan Manning and his wife Mary Ann Cornish Found him in the 1920 census (Northeast Monmouth, Polk, Oregon). He disappears by 1930 and due to his age I feel he died in the area. His wife Mary Ann (nee Cornish) is not with him. We are unsure if she passed away in Canada, while enroute to Oregon or there. Also with him in 1920 are: William Manning (son) who also disappears by 1930. (Also looking for his death in the area) Bertha Manning (wife of William) who I feel moved to California by 1930 Mildred Manning (daughter of William) All the info I have gathered is on http://www.mccurdykin.com/MarySamualManning.htm (be sure to see the genealogy notes also) Thanks for any help M Please visit: Looking 4 Kin Genealogy Links & Chat http://www.looking4kin.com http://www.looking4kin.com/Looking4KinBlog/blog.html My family sites: http://www.buddkin.com/ http://www.lawrence-kin.com/ http://www.littlejohnkin.com/ http://www.mccurdykin.com/ Good luck in your genealogy quest. --------------------------------- Be smarter than spam. Hello all, I am seeking out Walt Davies & have ran out of way's to search. Several years ago I bought the writings of Walt Davies' Aunt, Charlotte Matheny Kirkwood, "Into the Eye of the Setting Sun" on floppy disk from him. Since that time we have bought another computer, which is already a dinasour.....lol. But I cannot get that disk to play for the life of me. Can anyone out there refer me to Walt, or know how I can get the disk to play again? Thank you in advance, Teresa (Reed) Kurtzhall ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
August Sullivan, Good grief!! You have NOT been to the State Archives in years! At least not at least 7 years or more. The state archives are NOT in same building with State Library. The State Archives has its OWN bulding at 800 Summer Ave. The records are not in basement at all. The State Library is still in their same building closer to the Capitol. W.
