    1. [OREGON] Found old photos, looking for rightful owners
    2. Shawn M. J. Mann
    3. Greetings everyone, I have been a member of this list for a while, but as a lurker. I hope I am sending to it correctly. I recently found 4 old photos at the Goodwill "As-Is" store in Medford, Oregon. The names on the back are: Walter Dempsey, Marilyn Dempsey, and Joanne Dempsey. The date on one is March 1942. They can be viewed from my website at http://familyhunter.quillspirit.com <http://familyhunter.quillspirit.com/> - If you are the rightful owner, or a relative of, or know who is, please contact me at Shawn@quillspirit.com, I would be more than happy to return them. :-) Happy Family Hunting! Shawn M. J. Mann www.quillspirit.com <http://www.quillspirit.com/> http://familyhunter.quillspirit.com <http://familyhunter.quillspirit.com/> (P.S. - I am currently researching the following surnames: Conner, Ness, Makinson, Morris, Estes, Lillibridge, Blank, Seright. amongst others. My Gedcom and some interesting information I have found, along with several resources are on my website above.)

    3. Hi Sandy Possibly! Have just made a connection to living relatives in America, hence my effort to find as much information as I can. These ancestors are making life difficult as they appear to be all over the States! Certainly some seem to be or were in the California area. I'm not sure where Sonoma County is. ALSO I am doing a one name study and gather information on ALL Nations that I come across, so I would be inerested in who your Aunt Josie married. There are an awful lot of the family for me still to locate, I have found just one line at the moment. I look forward to hearing from you again. 2. Rosemary NATION
    3. Hi Loni Many thanks for your replies. I have no idea which part of Portland, Oregon the NATIONs were in. I got the information from a Family Record Sheet which I can only presume came from a Family Bible as it was so detailed. Living in England I am very confused over Counties and Towns, etc. so have to rely on these mailings for help, which I must say I am indebted to kind people for the advice I have received. You mention a certificate number for Charles A. Where do I apply for this information, and any idea how much it costs? Just one other thing, I notice that you have an interest in Squire(s). Have you come across Dr Amos Squires in the New York area. A NATION girl married Dr Amos Squires in the Peekskill area. He was a prison physician. thanks again.
