    3. Thanks, I would gladly do that if it wasn't for the distance. I live in Southern New Hampshire. 3. There are some WPA cemetery records that are at University of Oregon instead of Oregon State Library or Oregon State Archives. What is more common is the LDS Church surveys. Some are transcribed but there are still more. David Wendy wrote: > > Thanks, I would gladly do that if it wasn't for the distance. I live in > Southern New Hampshire. 3. This is just a tidbit that may not have any import in your search but a branch of Marchant's must have made it to the Yakima Valley because there is a very nice furniture store called 'Marchant Home Furnishings' that is located in Grandview, Washington. Last I knew it was still owned by the Marchant family. I moved away from that area a few years ago so I may not be up to speed on the latest happenings. 3. Still looking for any information on this family who went west to Oregon City, Clackamas, OR, from Massachusetts in the 1920s. I'd like to know more about Clackamas County. Their names again are: Charles Everett Marchant and Laila May (Goodwin) Marchant In Massachusetts they both worked in the woolen mills. They were 60 years old when they showed up in the Oregon City, OR, 1930 Census. Enjoy this OR Listing. It's very interesting.
