    2. Linda LaCount
    3. Hi!, I am looking for information regarding my grandmother, I believe she was in the Eastern Star while she was in Lake Waukegan, Illinois, although she could have been active when she lived in San Leandro, CA, also. I remember being told she liked to cook. Thank you in advance, Linda LaCount Sent from Windows Mail

    3. I'm searching for a Cleveland OH family whose wife I'm told was a high ranking officer of the Eastern Star. I hope someone out there might be able to help in my search. The OH relative is Charles Seaman related to the Nuter family in Chicago. All I know is that he owned a gas station or number of gas stations in Cleveland; he and his wife raised greyhound type dogs and his wife was an Eastern Star officer. If I knew her given name, it would be beneficial in my search for this family. As for Charles, I do know he had two brothers Rudloph/Rudy the owner of an office supply company in Cleveland and possibly William. Thanking this list and it's members in advance for any assistance in locating this family. Judith Mason Chicago IL

    2. Joan Hartman
    3. Hello, I am also fairly new to the list and can recall a very touching service at my grandmother's funeral in 1965 involving the Order of the Eastern Star. I've had contact in previous years with someone in the Order who was trying to help me locate the exact Chapter she belonged to but my research had to be put on the back burner for awhile and now I'm a bit lost all over again. Can anyone direct me to the most likely Chapter my grandmother would've belonged to if she did not drive and she lived in Maspeth on 64th Street in the 1940-50-60's. Thank you, Joanie

    3. I recently discovered that my great grandmother was a member The Order of the Eastern Star. She most likely became a member while living in Westchester County, NY in the early 1900's. Does the Order of the Easter Star keep records for past members? Who can I contact to request information about her membership and her family. Any information would be helpful.
