I reached Stronsay only once, in 1987, at which time there was a young > minister with family serving the church. Rev Alison Finch is an Episcopalian vicar and is part of the Anglican community. See <http://www.aberdeen.anglican.org/index.htm>. Stronsay has a Presbyterian kirk - Moncur Memorial Church. See <http://www.churchofscotland.org.uk/index.htm>. It is has no minister at the moment. Rev Finch has been off work for almost a year through illness but is now picking up the threads again. She is, in effect, the Episcopalian vicar of Orkney. She holds regular Sunday services in Kirkwall and Stromness. and visits the Northern Isles on a regular basis. -- Bruce Fletcher Stronsay, Orkney, UK http://www.stronsay.co.uk/claremont If you can read this, thank a teacher.
