I've been hearing tell that microliths, presumably from the mesolithic period, had been found at Mine Howe just recently. There's a small piece in The Scotsman this morning: http://news.scotsman.com/scotland.cfm?id=1018502004 Although I'm a bit confused by the speculation on "mesolithic houses". I suspect there would be a much bigger news story if there was real evidence for mesolithic structures. Am I being too pessimistic, or is it just speculation, or is there some journalistic confusion there?
