The microliths were found incorporated into a Bronze Age barrow on top of the mound known as Longhowe. Looking at the geophysics studies of the mound, it looked as if there were signs of "settlement activity" (not structures) further down, which may be related. A more detailed geophys scan will take place over the next few weeks, but the site will have to wait till next year for excavation.
