I just learned that there is a bridge (my informant calls it a Brig) south of Grimbister, called the Davie Brig. I am interested in knowing if anyone has the history of this "brig" and if there would be a photo of the "brig" and also a photo of the sign identifying the "brig". Alternatively, would anybody be able to give me a heading towards the information? By the way, those pictures were great. In this digitized world we can share so much with a click and a flick. I'm confused! Not difficult, I know :-) I received Stephen Davie's post at 0654 this morning (4th). According to Outlook Express it was posted at 0120 on the 3rd. Obviously others had already received it because two replies were sent by Sigurd at 2320, received by me at 2347, on the 2nd and Steven at 2329 received by me at 2328. There would seem to be something amiss with Rootsweb's servers perhaps, unless somebody knows something different. A chap could get quite paranoid :-)) -- Mike Clouston
